The miniature Churchill benches were presented by the British Government to the Philippines as a token  of UK’s global media freedom campaign. It contains an engraving of the words  of the celebrated late British prime minister Winston Churchill: ” A free press is the unsleeping guardian of every other right that free men prize; it is the most dangerous foe of tyranny.”

The miniature chairs are made from scrap wood and plastic waste ropes.
